MOT

Vehicles that are 3 years old or more are required by law to have an annual safety check, the Ministry of Transport test, commonly known as the MOT test. The purpose of the MOT test is to ensure the vehicle meets the minimum safety level required by law. It is a regulated inspection of over 150 safety-related and emission checks.

1. The MOT test checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.
   
   
2. An MOT lasts for a year. The date it runs out is printed on the last pass certificate.
   
   
3. You can get an MOT within 30 days before it expires and preserve the same renewal date.

5. If your car fails the MOT test our expert team of mechanics can repair any faults.
   Re-testing your car is free of charge.
